August 2024 – Summer continues to pop up and then vanish only to pop up again. This has given us a number of sunny days generating over 20 KWH with a few grey days giving virtually nothing in terms of solar production.

The total for the month is more in line with expectations but slightly above August 2023,

Export was 76.35 kWh of power back to Octopus. This represents 14% of generated power.

During the month Octopus offered as an experiment as number of days with free power between 13:00 – 14:00. These were days when the wind was set to blow and the sun shine when the power generated needed a home.

For these times we set the battery to charge.
