With Tesla pricing changing faster than the seasons in 2023 we thought that we should track the UK retail price of the model 3 and model Y.

2024 arrives and no price changes in Jan, Feb or March. Other markets have seen price reductions but not UK. The new facelift Highlander is here and looks great. 

We also have during April the Model 3 Performance and the Model Y performance. 

December 2023 – The years draws to a close with no change on retail pricing. We expect the refreshed Model 3 Highlanders to land in the UK in January.  Expect a sales rush.

November sees no change in the new Model 3 price after the £3,000 price cut in October 3 and no change in Model Y UK price.

October sees a £3,000 price cut in Model 3 and no change in Model Y.

September sees no change in base price for Tesla Model 3 or Model Y.

July and August sees no change in base price for Tesla Model 3 or Model Y.

June 2023 see no change to base prices for Model 3 or Model Y,

May sees no change in base price for Tesla Model 3 or Model Y.

April sees no change in base price for Tesla Model 3 or Model Y.

May 2024 – another month with no price change to Model 3 or Model Y.

August 2024 – Both model 3 and Model Y available at very competitive PCH price – Model Y just £299 / month and model 3 at 0% APR. There are deals to be had.

October 2024 sees a £2,000 price increase on the Tesla Model Y. This is the first change in 18 months. The Model 3 remains the same price. 

November sees end of year incentives: We have Free Supercharging for 1 year for deliveries before year end for Model Y. Model 3 has a lease price of just £299 / month – 36 month lease / hire with 12 month down. Great deal. Total cost for three years would be just: £14,000. That’s far less than the deprecation from buying a new car for £40K.
